Why We Named Our AI Sarah (And What She Actually Does)

People ask us why we gave our AI ad automation system a human name. The honest answer is that after watching this system work for months, calling it 'the algorithm' or 'the platform' stopped feeling accurate. It felt like it deserved a name the same way you'd name anything you trust with real responsibility.

The Naming Story

We built Sarah.ai to solve a problem we lived through ourselves — Facebook ad accounts that get checked once every few days instead of every few hours. Inside that platform, the actual decision-making engine — the part that reviews performance, kills bad ads, and reallocates budget — needed an identity. Sarah was the name that stuck during internal testing, and it never changed.

What Sarah Actually Does, Technically

Sarah continuously monitors every connected ad account against a set of performance thresholds — CPL targets, frequency caps, budget pacing, and conversion trends. When a metric crosses a threshold, she takes one of three actions: pause the ad, reduce its budget, or flag it for human review if the decision requires business context she doesn't have.

A Real Example

Last month, one of our real estate client's lead form ads suddenly dropped in conversion rate by 40% overnight — not because the ad got worse, but because Facebook had silently changed how the form was loading on certain Android devices. Sarah flagged the conversion drop within six hours. A human checking the account once every two days would have caught it three days later, after roughly ₹15,000 in wasted spend.

Sarah's Limits, Honestly

Sarah doesn't understand your business the way a strategist does. She doesn't decide your offer, your positioning, or your target audience from scratch. She executes relentlessly within the strategy a human sets. We're transparent about this because overselling AI capability is how the industry lost trust in the first place.

Closing

The name is not a gimmick. It's a reminder to our own team that this system has earned the same level of trust we'd give a senior media buyer — because she's caught problems faster than we have, more than once.
