From 60 Rejections to Running My Own Digital Marketing Agency in Bangalore — The Real Story

Before I started BuzzCrewz, I sat through 60 job interviews. Not 5. Not 10. Sixty. And I got rejected at most of them. This is not a motivational post. This is the actual story of how BuzzCrewz happened.

Where It Started

I completed my BCom with no clear direction. Everyone around me was either preparing for CA exams or doing MBA. I found a Udemy course on digital marketing. I bought it, watched every video, took notes, and practiced. No mentors. No college course. Just me, a laptop, and YouTube tutorials at 1AM.

60 Interviews

Armed with my Udemy certificate, I started applying for jobs. The first rejections were fine. By interview 20, it starts to feel personal. By interview 40, you genuinely question whether you are good enough. Some interviews I cleared technically but lost on experience. Some I lost because I was a BCom graduate in a sea of MBA candidates.

60 rejections taught me one thing — the market rewards what you can actually do. I was determined to prove what I could do.

Interview 61 was BookAPoP Pvt Ltd. I got the job.

Four Years

I started as an intern. From BookAPoP I moved to Global Edifice. Then to Houzbay — a real estate company where I ran Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns. Over 4 years I went from intern to Digital Marketing Manager. I learned all the AI tools on my own — YouTube videos at night. No courses. No mentor. Just practice.

Why I Left

By the time I left Houzbay I had seen campaigns fail. I had seen budgets wasted. I knew exactly why. I wasn't starting BuzzCrewz because I had investor money. I started it because I was confident I could do the work better.

What BuzzCrewz Does

We are a digital marketing and AI automation agency in Bangalore. We run Meta Ads and Google Ads — primarily real estate. We have generated 2,942+ leads at ₹531 average CPL. We build AI-powered tools. We are building an AI ads platform launching soon.
